timeout

RunOption.timeout() → int

Get the per-launch sync timeout in microseconds. Internal use only.

Returns 0 when no override is set; in that case the Module layer resolves the effective timeout once per Run from the HDPL_API_TIMEOUT env var, or the built-in 100 s default.

Returns:

timeout -- The user-supplied timeout override in microseconds.
