set_timeout

RunOption.set_timeout(timeout: int)

Set the per-launch sync timeout in microseconds. Internal use only.

A value of 0 (the default) means "not set": the Module layer resolves the effective timeout once per Run from the HDPL_API_TIMEOUT env var, then the built-in 100 s default.

Parameters:

timeout (int) -- Per-launch sync timeout in microseconds. Must be non-negative.

Returns:

Returns the RunOption instance for method chaining.

Return type:

RunOption

Raises:

ValueError -- If timeout is negative.
